5 “thank you” card etiquette considerations

    1.  Handwritten is ideal and shows you invested time in the card
    2. Personalize each message with specific information to give that extra-special warm and fuzzy
    3. For money checks and gifts received before the wedding, send “thank you” cards 1-2 weeks after receipt; For cash-money and gifts received after the wedding, send cards within 45-90 days or the giver might start to think you forgot. Which you obviously didn’t because you’re reading this....
    4. Try to diversify the “thank you” message when sending to relatives or friends who might cross-check for originality… you know who i’m talking about… (Looking at you Aunt Karen)
    5. Don’t forget to send “thank you” cards to anyone who made your day special - even if they didn’t give you a gift (like vendors, officiants, and venue coordinators)
